Do you have any mods on your car? How much styling/tuning do you do?

I'm a girl and I don't have any mods on my car (at least not yet!), but I'm interested in reading about what others do to their cars. You know, just so that I can get some ideas :D ;)

I used to have a 1994 integra ls, in milano red. I've since sold that car and bought an audi a4. -down But, I had quite a few mods on the teggie --

    cosmetics:
a pair of recaro srd seats
    spoon sw388 rims - 15 x 6.5
    yokohama avs tires
    mugen pedals
    spoon shift knob
jdm integra type r front end with HIDs
    spoon carbon fiber front lip
    type r wing
    eibach springs
    vision adjustable shocks
    vision mirrors
    fiber images carbon fiber hood

    under the hood/engine work
b18c motor swap (type r engine)
    AEM intake
    spoon n1 exhaust
    jdm headers
    ngk wires
spoon ecu (rev up to 9200rpm w/o fuel cutoff)
    spoon strut tower bars
    spoon lower tie bars
    brembo cross-drilled rotors
    project mu brake pads

Now, on the a4, I just have tints, rear lip, and suspension.

Not so into the whole car mod thing. I was out with a friend last night and when we came out his car was gone. It was a moderately moded integra. For this reason alone I have never moded my car. Too many horror stories from friends about people losing their cars after all the time and money that goes into it. I mean the import car culture is pretty cool but I finally experienced it first hand last night.

I know a lot of peeps out there are pretty big into it. I guess I hang out with a lot of the people who are big into it but I am personally not doing anything because I can't really afford to and I don't feel safe doing it.

I guess this is the 2nd time its happened. My friend was already talking about buying another car with the insurance money and starting another build up. Its amazing how this cycle keeps going..

Hey... sorry I didn't catch your reply in time =/

Congratulations on the shop opening :).

Yeah, I miss my teggie dearly. I sold it because I thought it was time to let it go. Plus, I was tired of having people follow me home trying to steal my car.

For the a4, I have a few bruises on the grey undermolding. I don't know how to fix that since the plastic is chipped?

So just in case you didn't notice, I used to have a 1994 integra ls with type R engine swap. On several occasions, I've caught people following me home and stuff. I imagine they were following me to see where I live so they can steal my car. All my friends used to hook up cars and stuff, and we'd never be able to go anywhere for fear of wrecking our carbon fiber lips in the pot-hole filled streets of LA, & for fear that somebody will steal our cars.

Many of my friends have had their cars stolen right out of their driveways... but for many, it's a hobby, and they're willing to take on the risk.

Which A3 are you thinking about?

Well here's my take on the US bound A3...

The round interior is getting old to me tho and the seats aren't so great. The 2.0T currently only comes in a fronttrac and the 3.2L VR6 quattro is a rather big gas hog for it's class...

It's an OK car in my opinion. If you like the 2.0T FSI motor tho and can do 2 doors, I'd much rather do the MKV GTI (which the A3 is the upgraded version of). The interior seems more up-to-date and the seats are much better than the A3. The engine and tranny smoothness is the same... but it looks like a last gen civic -_-2

    hey, no sweat. :)

on your A4 undermolding, is it chipped as in missing pieces, or scratched up from hitting the ground too low? but anyhow, i think u meant chipped as in rock chips? to repair that, i usually sand it down, fill it with fusor or polyester putty, then paint the whole molding to the color of the car. another good reason to paint your grey moldings.

forgot to mention to you, i finally have the shop set up! i can do work during the weekends.. don't forget to hit me up on the celly! -innocent

The undermolding is scratched up, as in when I park, other cars on the street, rape my car so badly. I have screw marks all over my bumper (the painted part) & the undermolding. I talked to Henry about it the other day and he said suggested that I get the s4 bumper instead. What do you think?

i drive a 98 montero sport ls. heh, i guess my sn doesn't really fit me too well. it's a 3.0l v6 though. i had neons all around inside, but took them out after getting a ticket for them. bunch of other advance auto part mods, nothing to brag about. planning on putting in an apexi short ram intake this summer though.
