Go to like http://www.tirerack.com and put in your car then you can pull up ratings on a bunch of tires for your car.
I have Toyo Proxes 4 on my car. But if you just want regular driving tires, get michelin or goodyears. They're a little bit more, but are great for long life and all.
There's so much more to a tire than it's brand, so it's hard to generalize which one's best. I can tell you that Michellin is generally high quality (which is probably why they usually cost more). With that said, my GTI runs Falkens
I like Michelins & Yokohamas. My current car came stock with a set of Pirellis. They are the worst tires I've ever encountered. I know Pirelli has really good race tires, but their regular all-season tires are soooo horrible!! I'm thinking about being budget and just getting a set of Kumho tires, which have gotten awesome reviews. On my old teggie, for the first half of its life, it had a set of Michelins, which were great. Then I slapped on a set of Yoks for summer tires.
i used bridestone potenzas. i've had mine for about 2 years now and the tread has only gone down about 25%. excellent grip in rain or shine. corners like no other. one minor problem though...they can be loud. balance often. otherwise, excellent tires. i have the z-rated tires.
i prefer yokohama.. actually depends how is ur driving like... for me i prefer those tyre from japan... the grip are better
Bridgestones are great. I got the Potenza SO2 polepositions. They have awesome grip in the dry and the rain.
