Carina Lau (劉嘉玲) was the guest star for a ribbon cutting ceremony in Taipei recently. According to a Taiwan media report, Carina Lau flew into Taipei one day earlier to attend a birthday party bash for Kung Ching Yi (孔晴逸) on May 13. Invited guests also include Carina’s rumoured ex-flames, wealthy businessmen Sun Dao Chun (孫道存) and Niu Cheng Ze (鈕承澤).

After being tipped off, reporters rushed down to the Japanese sushi restaurant where the party was held. Attending the party were people well known in the fashion circles and celebrities. Taking a breath of fresh air outside the restaurant, Sun Dao Chun, who was rumored to have had a candlelit dinner with Carina before, was obviously quite tipsy from all the drinking, but when he saw reporters, he was courteous and chatted with them.

Not long after Sun Dao Chun went back into the restaurant, Niu Cheng Ze came to the party with Taiwanese-British film actor, Rhydian Vaughan (鳳小岳). Since the two rumored ex-flames of Carina Lau were present at the same party, it makes one wonder if there were scenes of embarrassment when they both met. However, after a short while, Sun Dao Chun was seen leaving the party and drove away alone in his BMW.

Nearing 10:30 p.m., with her hand encircled in his arm, Carina openly came out of the restaurant with Niu Cheng Ze. When reporters asked if they are planning to work together, Carina smilingly said, “No.” After sending Carina to her car, Niu, like Sun, also left the party alone.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony the next day at the opening of Fendi flagship store in Taipei 101, Carina told reporters that these days she has the habit of sleeping and waking up early and also drinking and eating less. She told the reporters “Honestly, when I have my dinner without wine, I feel it’s not complete, but I already drink less now.”
