I have looked everywhere and Google it several times and I have found no solution. I have a JVC RC-ST1 boombox, I put my CD and cassette in, I press play for the CD and then press down the record button for the cassette but it won't let me press down. I can press all the other buttons (play, ff, rw etc) just not the record.. can someone help me please?
^...puhehehe i remember doing this when i was a kiddd..-lol if i remember right....you have to press play+record button down together...and that should do it =]
yea but then i guess u may not get that function on all hifis. maybe check to see if function is available in the manual first.
have a look at the cassette see if the two savety pin is remove at the bottom of the cassette if so use tape to seal the hole that should work if not i think is a big problem
@brown_bear: It's for my car, it's really old and only play cassettes >.< thanks for your suggestion but the stupid Rec button just won't go down. @bbes: I've lost the manual.. I'm useless!
