Chandelier made from tampons!




Artists sure make use of the oddest of material in their art creations. Pictured here is a chandelier hanging in the Arsenale during the 2005 Venice Beinalle (An art exhibition). So what makes this special? It is actually made from tampons! I can barely make out the dangling tampons from a much larger picture after the jump.

What exactly is the purpose of this? Is it just to show everyone that they can do it?

 

hahah funny chandelier! with just a glance we'll thought it's made from diamonds or crystals. anyways, it's beautiful. it just reminds me of Kichler Home Lighting.
