Since filming TVB drama, Forensic Heroes 2 <法證先鋒II> in 2008, Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) has been romantically linked to former costar, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎). It was also unclear whether Kevin and Charmaine’s growing involvement may have re (sulted in his subsequent break up with Niki Chow (周麗淇). Recently, Charmaine’s name was again linked to Kevin as numerous rumors abound that the pair may have reconciled their relationship! With both Charmaine and Kevin filming in Hengdian, China, tabloids earlier claimed that she had visited his hotel via a secret passageway. Denying the rumors, Charmaine told the Oriental Daily that they did not even meet for dinner. “At the time, I thought to myself, ‘Will we meet for dinner?’ It turned out that this did not happen. Our rumors started when we had filmed Forensic Heroes 2. I feel that we do have a lot of conversational topics to talk about, but there is something that prevents further development between us.” Charmaine added, “After experiencing several love relationships, I realize that timing was very important, which is equivalent to fate. If you are meant to encounter someone, you will inevitably meet him.” Focusing on advancing her career over the past several years, Charmaine sacrificed romantic opportunities, but did not regret doing so since that was her choice at the time. Although she currently had pursuers, she was busy filming in Hengdian, but will have more free time this summer. Charmaine professed that she was willing to prioritize love over her career at this time. Maintaining contact and good relations with former boyfriends, Charmaine still kept in touch with Kevin. When Kevin swept the television Best Actor Awards in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore last year, Charmaine was quick to congratulate him on Weibo. Regarding Charmaine’s statement that the timing was off, thus preventing the pair from advancing their relationship, Kevin commented, “People are quite surprising. Reflecting back on what had happened several years ago, there was a timing issue. I understand what she meant.” Asked if the timing were to be right, would Kevin get back together with Charmaine?
