I need help with the following questions....dont understand at all!
    1. Draw the lewis structure of SCl4 2-
Name the shape, bond angle, formal charge on each atom and type of hybridization

    2. Among these compounds: LiF, MgO, CaS, CsI
Which Ionic Compound is the most soluble? Briefly explain.
Which compound has a highest melting point? explain.

    3. Lone Pairs: 1; Bonding Pairs on Central atom: 4; Bond Angle: ?; Type of hybridization: ?
Lone Pairs: 2; Bonding Pairs on Central atom; 4; Bond Angle: ?; Type of hybridization: ?

If anyone could help explain these to me it would be FANTASTIC....
    thanks in advance!

    no its definitely sulfur....
i think it might be similar to SF6, except theres 4 Cl's and then theres 2 lone pairs....but im not sure about angles and such...

then the shape will be square planar

    Cl Cl
    \ .. /
    S
    / \
    Cl Cl
