Having been 25 years since Cherrie Choi (蔡立兒) last released an album, she held a spontaneous music gathering last night which attracted many fans and her husband Tak Fan Au Yeung (歐陽德勛) also came out for support. She revealed that as she was discussing her new contract with the record company, she overheard James Ng's (吳業坤) aka Kwan Gor rendition of her song 《絕戀》 and praised him for singing it well. As a result Cherrie deliberately chose to sing a cover of his “She didn’t love me enough” 《原來她不夠愛我》as a challenge and hopes Kwan Gor will be able to listen in and see how she did. ~~~ cred: mingpao
