Chilam Cheung Labelled as Most Dashing Pilot in "Triumph in the Skies 2"

Chilam Cheung (張智霖) has been declared as the most dashing pilot in Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄II>! Joining the cast in the sequel to TVB’s popular drama, Chilam will portray a playboy pilot. Netizens touted Chilam as being an even more dashing pilot than Francis Ng (吳鎮宇), a compliment which Chilam awkwardly brushed aside.

Chilam and Francis will both be vying for the love of pilot, Fala Chen (陳法拉). The trio’s “30-40-50″ love triangle was appealing on the eyes, despite the large age gap between them. Fala is 30 years old, Chilam is 40 years old, and Francis Ng 50 years old. The men maintained their youthful looks and Chilam even wore clothes from his private wardrobe yesterday for better results.

Last night’s outdoor filming in Lan Kwai Fong attracted a large pedestrian gathering. Fala and Francis were standing on the street, when Chilam drove by in his white Jaguar. Fala immediately rushed to Chilam’s side and the pair displayed their easy affection for each other. Fala and Chilam continued to have a lively exchange inside the car.


With his extensive experience in filming movies, Francis offered valuable input to the cinematographer, including angles in which the scenes can be be filmed. Due to the high summer temperatures, Francis was seen sweating noticeably in his suit jacket.The scene required one hour to film before the cast and crew of Triumph in the Skies 2 wrapped up the work for the evening.

Francis Ng and Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) portrayed memorable lovers in the original Triumph in the Skies. Although Myolie will resume her role as Francis’ wife, “Zoe,” her character will only appear for several episodes before dying. Afterward, Francis will eventually become romantically involved with Fala Chen.
