A toy black leopard left lying in a footpath sparked panic in a Chinese city. The 91cm stuffed toy scared pedestrians and caused a traffic jam in Xiamen city. “Dogs were scared and passers-by were running for their lives. Some of them ran into traffic, causing a back-up.” Eventually, police officers arrived with an armed anesthetist from the local Haicang Zoo. “After observing for a while, we saw the leopard was stationary, so one of the officers gingerly went ahead and touched it. Then we realized it’s a toy,” said a police spokesperson
Erm, are people really that easily scared? It's a somewhat big stuffed animal but not livesize and not that realistic...
Is that the origininal toy leopard or some random toy pic? If it is the original then people in Xiamen haven't seen a stuff animal before which makes it very very sad.
ya i think i'd be scared if i was far away. esp with like ppl looking at it and walking away from it. but i think i'd want to get closer to take a closer look. i mean its not everyday u see a black panther on the street. lol
Oh come on! It couldn't have looked that real. Must have been funny though, everyone in a panic only to find out it's a toy.
lol.. wonder how I would have reacted.. It looks fake here.. but circumstances might induce a illusion that it is real. When the crowd starts running away from sth.. will you join them or walk towards it?
seems like something i read last time about somebody have a wedding with jelly and they were so scared it was a bio chem weapon when it landed on the streets
