Chilean Miners Rescued

I'm sure that everyone by now has seen or heard on the news, the good turn of events down in Chile. Their trapped miners are being slowly brought back to the surface one by one to rousing applause from around the world. A truly heart warming happy ending.

Also, a big thumbs up to the rescuers who are actually being lowered into the mine to prep the miners for their journey back to the surface. That's gotta be ballsy, no matter how you slice it... -worship

 

I think I read this on the newspaper. not too sure, one thing for sure is that it really is good news =]

 

so what are they going to do with the mine now, collapse it?

 

damn...took them long enough for the rescue...glad everyone is alive

 

I love how the second rescued miner, after reaching the surface, began handing out souvenir rocks, LOL...

Why the zombies?

 

Saw it live on the news, getting one person out almost took an hour... but so far those people looked fine.

 

All just rescued

how they survived 69 days there is an amazing feat.

 

Also forgot to mention fearless' zombie chilean miners story too

 

Noticing that video of the last rescuer leaving with the lights still on, and now that everyone is out and the rescue shaft is officially covered and sealed; I'm waiting for a video to eventually surface of an unidentified shadowy 'someone' walking around, still in the mine.

 

WoW, trapped for 2 months.
