It must be true because wherever you find chinese you will not find many wild animals or what not. Look at Africa and you will see a lot of wild animals around but yet many people are dying of starvation. What have you eaten so far?
well i think techniqually what makes a chicken different to any other animal you would consider not normal to eat e.g. dog, its all meat in the end, just that some cultures consider some animals to be food and some not I guess most excotic thing ive eaten is kangaroo - taste like beef
ermm... im not really a meat person so aside from the usual beef,pork, chicken & seafood thats as far as i go i never thought of africa in that way but as mentioned by Dim8Sum as it being different cultures i think is quite true
I love meat... but still depends. lol. I've had... pig... guts. lol. Um squid... stuff like that. Nothing exotic. But my parents have eaten some interesting things lol.
Haha beef tripe is lovely. my friend just can't get his head round us lot eating it. I can't say that I've eaten anything exotic. Most of it seems like everyday Chinese/Vietnamese food to me. I nearly had some horseshoe crab but was too full when I went to vietnam
^ yeh when you explain to other non-oriental people, they look at you like your weird for eating chicken claws and food thats normal for us
Yeah also foriegn countries may also find it strange some chinese people get bird saliva and make it into a soup ^^;
I agree. Just cuz it's expensive doesnt mean it's good for you... yin wor is just disgusting...i dont like it.>.<
