i was watching Fear Factor one day with my dad. the contestants were eating cockaroaches and all those insects and stuff. my dad asked me if there were getting paid to eat those. so i told him $50k if they win. and my dad was like, he used to eat insects and rats and stuff back in the day in china. and when i went to china to visit my relatives, they took me to this authentic chinese restaurant where they serve you insects, worms and everything. so i was wondering what kind of food would the contestants of fear factor in china be grossed out to eat. besides crap, i really cant think of anything. we practically eat anything that moves.
Well for one thing, even tho u're eating that stuff in the resturant, they taste good and mostly cooked. but the contestants eat their stuff raw with no sauce or marinating which tastes nasty.
dude it's not just eating to win fear factor... lmao... it's not really Chinese who eats "everything"... Mexicans... Filipinos... bunch of other races.. but I mean really tho.. some of the stuff is considered a delicacy... but pple in Fear Factor actually have to eat like raw fish guts... coagulated blood... live insects... goat testicles.. and being Chinese myself... I ain't never comin' near any of those things no matter how much they paid me... being raised in a Western society... of course you're gonna freak out about some of the stuff pple from foreign countries eat... but I mean if you tell someone in China.. a middle class person who actually makes a decent living.. to eat Raw Buffalo PENIS... for money.. I'm pretty sure they're gonna freak out... and shove it back at your face...

i totally agree with you, Western society shun a lot of things that people in other countries consider a delicacy. btw, im not sure about buffalo penis but a lot of people in china love cow penis. and even the high class people in china eat tiger penis to enhance their sexual life.
talking about fear factor..i watch it the other day too..did you see the same episode as me..cuz the one i watch, they were sucking big roaches with some fluid and passed it through a tube..it was nasty..>_<..now that i think of it..i think chinese people do eat a lot of gross stuffs..lol..but those chicken legs and those cow brains in those burrittos are hella good..lol..sorry for disgusting yall..lol..i think maybe a gorilla?lol..that something i never see chinese people eat before?

haha I just saw the title and laughed. Well there's an old chinese saying "Anything that walks on four and with its back to the sky is edible." I think this applies to babies. I read somewhere that in ancient time there was a king that wanted to prolong his life but eating babies or something.
