i don't think they really teach traditional kung fu no more. At least not in area outside of China. It all might be simplify version of it. But try asking around a "Chinatown" in your area you might get lucky.
True Kung Fu has been distorted... Its like Chinese Whispers now, after a while the original is lost... Its hard to find REAL traditional kung fu... the one that as rumored to be so effective that it scared the Chinese Imperial rule.
if you want to learn kung-fu...go back to china and visit one of their temples and ask to learn kung-fu....but it takes many many many years to master it
I guess Shaolin Temple would be good, but there are also lots of good schools in North America. Just need a good teacher. Even Lau (Lau ka leung) family is teaching good hung kuen and there are some good wing chun schools if you look around.
i agree....chinese kung fu is the best in the world...if you wanna learn some real chinese moves...you gotta go to shaolin temple...since their reputation for kung fu is great
Nah, chinese kung fu isn't the "best" in the world (maybe in terms of grace or style) but usually the individual is more important.
Most of my kung fu moves came from this when I was a kid. http://www.dramasian.com/showthread.php?t=7964
