Chinese medicine tastes soooo damn bad but they've got the saying that roughly translates to "bad to taste, errr good medicine?" you'll know what im talking bout if you chinese. i think its horrid since most medicine dont work for me chinese or western, so chinese medicine is worse since it tastes sooo awful
it is ur parent force u to drink chinese medicine? some chinese medic it really work. for fever, sore throat ,headace and etc. try "24 mei" it really work for sore throat but the taste is bad.
LOL I've had quite a few of those-lol . Nothin' like that chinese herbal remedy. Just throw a lil honey in it if it's too bitter.
and you know how ppl say to hold your nose, so you won't smell the medicine and just drink it, doesn't work. no matter still taste really awful. but hey, this is what chinese ppl has been drinking to heal themselves since long long long time ago. so the medicine has gotta work.
Yeh i tried them before, they taste relli relli nasty! Anyway i don't get ill alot so i don't have to drink them alot LOL
Yeah i tried before it is treally bitter but the side effect not that bad compare to westen medicine usually sleep when take western medicine. Plus sometimes chinese medicine does work better.
not only does the medicine taste bad but i hate that stuff that they give you to eat with the medicine. That dried up black thing ugh... and honey sounds like a good idea, i think ill try it next time ive got chinese medicine
It's not particularly disgusting but i find it hard to swallow and want to continue. I love haw flakes, eat them as snacks..^_^ ...hey...what are they made out of, i think i looked at the ingredients once and it said HAW? what's HAW anyways?
"One theory on the composition of Haw Flakes is that they are made from the berries of the hawthorn bush " apparently
yeah, i think the pills are okay, but i don't like the liquid kind. my mom says that chinese herbs work better than western medicine.
can't stand the smell. i've only ever had to drink that stuff once and it was because i had nosebleeds everyday for like two weeks. my mom asked around to see what would help and they said to take some chinese herbal drink or w/e and it would go away for a good long time and i haven't had a nosebleed since so I guess it did work. My dad has to take the medicine every other month or so and I don't think it works since he isn't getting better.
yea hawthorn berries. Before, I used to think they were made from cranberries, but like the package says, Haw... and I was like Huh?
Belief it or not, Chinese medicine do work. If you catch a cold and you take a dose of 'kam-mo-cha' and go to bed to sweat it out, I always felt better the next morning.I think ypu have to belief that Chinese medicine can 'cure' your ailments.
But the all time most effective medicine, would have to be the "Trumpet Pills" and it's even got a great theme song. Oh, speakin of which anyone remember the commercial for "Tong-Oak-Cay-Ying-Yuen...." I've been lookin' for that song for the longest time!!! yall remember?? it's like medicine for your baby if they got stomach pains or they're vomitting...
