Chinese Melon Art

Seen these before. Still think they are amazing masterpieces. I think there are a few others that you missed though.

 

i've seen theses too... in real life.. they looked so amazing! -lol

 

i just to eat them lol

 

They're absolutely beautiful. These people are so talented. As much as I love beautiful work, these melon would be gone in no time -drool

 

yup they are nice...they actually managed to shape these without squeezing the melon juice...i mean look at all the carved flowers...if i were to do it i'll probably get angry and squash the whole melon...

 

The turtle and phoenix are my favorite. -clapclap

 

whoa nice saw stuff like these in movies lol, crazy, if i attempt this i would probably go mad or accidently cut my fingers off or something lol

Love them all but the best in my opinion are the flowers ones and that turtle!

Those are very impressive. The paring technique is superb! Hadn't come across many sculpted watermelons IRL much. Wonder what would be the outcome when you place this against candy shaping pastry chefs. -surr

 

that is really amazing. i couldn't believe the details that was carved on those melons. Bravo.
