Tuesday January 30, 2007 Hong Kong Chivas Music Show: Leo, William, Ronald, Justin, Edmond + More Male singers performing at the 17th March 'Chivas Music Show' (Leo, Ronald, Edmund, Huang Pinyuan, Justin, William and Joey) attended a press conference yesterday. As a celebration of Leo winning the Media award, the organiser delivered a special present to him - a pair of flight tickets to Scotland, accommodation in medieval castle and also good wine and food. When asked who he will bring along, Leo replied wisely," Of course Paco, he can't be missed out when there is good wine! (How about your assitant?) Whoever free is welcome to come along." Mark Lui, who was standing aside, could not help but said loudly," Why not the organiser gives me 2 travelling vouchers as well." Singers who were present then cried out," I want, I want too." The emcee joked," I think tomorrow's headlines will definitely be 'All singers on stage jealous of Leo'! Haha!" Although all award ceremonies have come to an end, negative news on Leo have not stopped. Leo admitted to have read those news before, and knew that most talked about rifts between him and other singers. He clarified that he chatted with most singers that night, including Eason and Hacken. Eason and him even shook hands while they sincerely congratulated each other. Leo feels that award ceremonies are meant to motivate singers and should be happy events, therefore he hopes rumours can be cut down as much as possible. Regarding him being isolated while singing on the stage, Leo said helplessly," As I have previously explanied, time was running out so the closing ceremony had to be carried out at the same time. I find it unnecessary to report from another angle, that singers were being disrespectful. (There were news saying Eason mocked you?) To sum it up I wish there were lesser rumours. Rumours are excalating in the industry these few years, I hope all singers can escape from being rumoured victims. (How is your relationship with other singers normally?) Everyone is very friendly. I'm known to be courteous in the industry, but I rarely hang out after working." Facing these rumours, Leo was then asked if he felt demotivated to strive for awards in future. He explained that he has not reached the veteran stage yet, besides, winning awards is not just for himself, but for company and colleagues as well. credits: leoku.cc, asianfanatics.
