have you been in a relationship where your significant other love pet yet you don't or the other way around? if so, how do you deal with it?? i dated a white gal before and i didn't know she has pet until i stayed over one night. i freaked out so much that i left before dawn. she has rabbits, dogs, cats, hamsters, and turtle as pets. she hid them in the upstair bathroom whenever i came over so i didn't know. sigh .. she was a very sweet and pretty gal. it's just ironic that she's a pre-vet major.
rofl rofl thats why u left? XD i have to knw whether the guy has dogs/cats, i guess i have a minor phobia to them, esp dogs, i don't hate them, but i wouldn't want them to get close to me. I just feel they will eventually bite or scratch or attack me, not even dogs, any kind of animals. Goldfish is like the only kind of pet im ok living with.
Depends who came first edit: well what i'm trying to say is i'm not going to dump an animal for another person. That person will be able to live without you, but your pet might not. Personally, I find it cruel that anyone would consider tossing out your animal for your bf/gf.
Pets, Idon't really mind, I like pets, but if it gets to the point where the pets shares a room or bed with us, No...
i don't have a pet so bf. some just treasure their pets so much like a family member so its understandable they would want their lovers to accept their pets, too. I'll try to overcome my lil cynophobia if i really think he is the one. But i still don't think we should give up our bf/gf just for a pet
some animals are worth more then humans like say criminals but what can u say? maybe u hate a person so much u could compare it to anything. U can't compare another persons feelings with ur own.
well im not gonna abandon my dog for a guy.. its like if they dont like my family im not gonna leave them for him
Seriously who doesn't like pets? If you can't like pets, how can you expect to like kids? That's kind of like foreshadowing something right there. The girl I like is allergic to dogs but she loves my dogs too. but I would never toss out my dog, even if she was allergic. All I know is if I toss out my dog, it's dead.
^ don't compare your pet to having kids .. that's a whole different level and story .. you know what, some people just don't like pet so you just gotta choose .. pet or bf/gf. sometimes, you can't have the best of both world .. sacrifies are normal in life... it's never easy.
yup..people face trade offs everyday lol... its all opportunity cost...in order to obtain something your gotta give something up... but i really dun see how kids are anything like pets...lol.
i was eating the other night and i think i heard from current affair or some news on tv that 60% would choose pet over bf and only 10% would choose bf. i was too busy eating my noodle and might have heard it wrong. kind of a surprise to me.
^ yeah .. i heard something similar .. gals prefer their pet over their boyfriend/husband because they feel their pet won't cheat, hurt, or lie to them .. lol
