Chris Brown is arrested for allegedy assaulting Rihanna. Both did not show up at the grammy's, and I've read reports saying it was Rihanna because she had a black eye. Well Brown posted $50,000 bail and is now out. My initial thoughts shocked... but hey it's hollywood. Any thoughts?
Yeah it's been confirmed that Rihanna was the victim in this, but no details on how exactly the whole situation went down. I still find it shocking, but Chris Brown has had a history of abuse in his family (his father would beat his mother in front of him as a kid), so these kinds of things have predispositions =\ Edit: Just in from TMZ Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Rihanna's injuries were severe -- two "huge contusions" which swelled up on both sides of her forehead. We're told she also suffered "a bloody lip and nose." One of the law enforcement people put it this way -- the contusions "look like an MMA fighter or something ... [It] looked like she was growing devil's horns." We've also heard that Rihanna may have suffered bite wounds on one of her legs and arms, however, one source close to the situation tells us he doubts that is the case. Chris Brown has been booked on a felony criminal threats charge. If the D.A. files the case, domestic violence charges could be added.
finally, we needed the stars to pay up (they're the only ones that could afforted nowadays), at least, the gov't wouldnt be as greedy.
Wow... I didn't know that her injuries were that severe. I thought he just punched on her something, but that sounds like she took a heavy beating. I've also read on some blog that the arguement started because Rihanna gave Chris Brown Herpes. lol I don't know how much truth is in that statement.... Anyway, I love Rihanna's music and hope she'll be better soon!

^ Maybe he has an anger issue, it's btw hard to control yourself when you are angry. Guess, he regret what he did to rihanna, since he turned himself in. This might be the end for Chris carriere, just like R. kelly one...

chris browns parents had this problem too (father beat up mother) so all this is pretty ironic you would think he would treat girls better from what he saw growing up. but who knows maybe he was drunk high etc...at the time.
Yeah, so far there aren't any conclusive info on what started the fight ... just rumours! Whatever... Chris Brown's career will never be the same now... he's getting dropped by all his sponsors and yeah.. I'm sure any sensible person has lost all respect for him too (unlike ppl on his myspace that are ACTUALLY defending him...<_<)

this is wrong on so many levels how could he hit a woman... and didn't he think that his repuation's at stake? apparently he had a violent b/g (childhood.. family etc) but is that really a valid excuse for such behaviour? if all this is true, then he really needs some professional help so he can help himself.
