TVB artists Christine Kuo (苟芸慧), Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯), Shirley Yeung (楊思琦), and Ron Ng (吳卓羲) appeared at an inauguration event hosted by the Grateful Heart Charity Foundation. The actors posed for photos before the ceremony and some took the opportunity to address recent rumors. Sheren Tang, who has been under fire for speaking out against Beauty at War’s <金枝慾孽貳> production team, declined press interviews during the evening. Her Beauty costar Christine Kuo was however happy to answer questions. The 29-year-old spoke about her weight loss efforts and once again denied any involvement with rumored flame Aaron Kwok (郭富城). Christine was earlier given the nickname “Fat Kuo” due to her chubby appearance onscreen. The hurtful title motivated Christine to lose weight, and the actress claimed to have lost 9 pounds so far. When asked about her weight loss progress, Christine shared that she has been closely watching what she eats, and is trying out different methods such as doing yoga, going to the gym, and taking Chinese medicine to help her reach her fitness goals. Recently some speculated that Aaron Kwok may have rented a luxury unit on Christine’s behalf. Christine admitted to apartment-hunting but denied Aaron’s involvement. “I haven’t decided where I will rent… He and I are not involved, why would he sponsor me?” Ron Ng, who was recently rumored with Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄II> co-star Kelly Fu (傅嘉莉), quickly denied the relationship. Regarding Kelly’s insistence that she and Ron are really good friends, Ron said, “Perhaps she is not very good at expressing herself.” Reporters suggested that Kelly may have a one-sided crush, Ron quipped, “I am not lucky enough!” He added that he is focusing on his career and has no desire to start dating again.
