If i had a gf at the moment thats what i'd do, wouldnt have enough cash for both plane tickets, but if she fronted the cash for her own travel, id pay for all the accomodations and shit. although, this is probably influenced by the fact i really want to go on vacation atm and have no friends with the required liquidity to join me.

well it would all depend on where in the world you are. I know that I would love to have someone take me to an outdoor ice rink at night time with christmas lights all around. : ) but that's not gonna happen. not cold enough where I live >< I wanna go to NYC for the holidays sooo bad.
