The witty schoolboy in Stephen Chow's comedy "CJ7" will play the daughter of Andy Lau in a Hong Kong sci-fi film on the lines of "X-Men." Eleven-year-old actress Xu Jiao, who played a boy in her silver-screen debut "CJ7," will join Andy Lau and Barbie Hsu in Wong Jing's "Future Cop," the director told Beijing News on Tuesday. The new film tells the story of a police officer in the year 2085, who travels back in time to 2008 to save his kidnapped daughter. "At the end of next year, movie-goers will see a film with a style very similar to 'X-Men'," Wong, who also wrote the screenplay for the film, said. The film will employ the same team that did special effects for the latest Batman movie, "The Dark Knight," Wong added. CRIENGLISH.com
