Combine subtitle and movie????

    I’m having trouble trying to merge or embed a subtitle file (.srt, .idx, .sub, etc.) to an AVI movie.

    I’m using Nero vision (version 3.1.0.7) to burn movies to dvd but it doesn’t support separate subtitle files. I know that their are other programs that support separate subtitle files, but those softwares can’t make a title menu for the movie.

    So can someone please help with this, with step-by-step detail, please.

    NOTE: I ONLY want to know how to embed a subtitle into a movie

    pretty sure there's probably a thread about this... have you used searched yet???

    but umm off the top... there's Winavi... it should hardsub the subtitles... If you're looking to softsub with the option to select subs... ConvertX2DVD works... as for title menus... i'm sure there are programs out there which allows you to create them...
