Comp Sci and Engineering thread

Just to throw this out there, how do you CS/ENG students get girlfriends? theres like a 6:1 ratio in our classes, and to be honest those girls in our classes are ...., but i do see people in these two subjects with girls, how do they do it?

 

Haha, just take an easy 100 lvl class beside you major courses. I'm currently taking a religion class and there are loads of hot girls. So hard to pick one, love is complicated.

 

Maybe they got them before they started the courses

for one thing, you don't look for them in CS/ENG classes.

 

dont worry, your destined gf is hidden somewhere in this world. you will find her eventually. she could be just next to you or could be in africa.

 

Yea... who look for GF in their class? Think about it, would you actually want your GF to be in your class?

 

The world doesn't revolve only around CS/ENG classes, look elsewhere...

 

we have only 3 girls in our class. and we are total ~30 ppl.

but i agree to the previous posts. you are at the school/course since you want to learn sth.

i have to problems with the high male population in our school.

 

You make your way to to the other surrounding schools, and you make your picks there.. like seriously? there is 1 in 10000 hot girls in this field and they definitely aren't looking for one in the same field

 

Maybe you should rename the thread to:
"How do you guys get girls".

are you saying you want a gf only if she's in the same major as you?? Go to business or accounting or education major if you are so free and horny

 

Sounds like better odds than what were ni my CS/ENG when i was at uni, i think it was 80:1 and a total of 5 or 6 girls. I some how managed to become friends with 3 of them which were greek/ chinese and still talk to them from time to time. The others were muslim.

There is a saying to not piss on your own doorstep, why not go venture out and look for other girls. Who wants to date a girl doing computer science/ eng anyways?

sure its easy to say that "oh just go outside of the science courses" to get a GF but you have to understand that we are stuck in the labs like 4-5 hours a day on top of courses to get a decent mark. When we take electives and pick up girls from those bird courses, we only get to see those girls for like what 3 hours a week? Not enough to do anything in my opinion.

 

so are any other majors. compsci/eng is not an excuse. i know people in psych, bio, etc who have a schedule worst than yours, i don't see them struggling with a gf/bf lol

it's possible if you manage it.

FYI: i'm in computer science and i don't see it as a problem lol
