a cheap vid card like 2600xt can play it fine.. even on full res.. i still get about 50fps.. lolz >.<

ye its not gonna be that cheap in the UK. everything is much more expensive here and i can't rele see much point in getting a graphics card as i don't rele need to use such a high spec one.
well for gaming.. if your not a pro gamer freak.. you would consider a cheap vid card like 8600gt, 2600xt, 2900xt, etc... only true gamers that has like no life needs 8800gt, 8800gtx, 8800gts, 8800 ultra etc..
like me.. i don't get new games often and stick with some old games.. you should be fine with a medium level vid card for gaming.. cod4 works fine.. never tried crysis or other yet... 8800gt... its an average price card now.. so its a bit of a gamer card.. but it depends on w hat brand u get and what spec it is... but i wouldn't pay over $150 for a vid card just for gaming..
ye nor would i. also graphics cards will drop price quite rapidly anyway so u can usually get a gd graphics card just be waiting out for a while. my friend has the game crysis on his comp and he says its rele gd.
