Hey guys, Recently I met this girl from my community club, and she's actually pretty cool and easy-going... But the thing is she's only going to grade 9 and I am like in university second year... I know in the as you group, the age gap does increase but some people think it's weird, should I still bother trying?

I'm in a similar position. I just turned 25 and interested in a girl that's only about 19. I totally feel like a pedo anytime she says "xxxxxxx a couple years ago" since that makes her a minor anywhere back then lol.

She's too young to be in a relationship with someone your age. yes age is just a number but like everyone else is saying there are laws against these things. at your age are you willing to be in a relationship with no sex for a few years? you cant even "make out" with her. forget the thought of pursuing anything with her. wait till she's older if you come across her again. my hubby and i are 10 years apart but I didnt meet him and enter a relationship with him till I was 21. i still tease him that he's a decade older than me and when he was learning to drive i was learning to ride a bicycle. bottom line: NO. she's too young for you at this stage in both of your lives.
