Try restarting your comp and see if it does the same or not when installing. If it does, you problably downloaded the update but not the original software.

what format is it you want? i cant remember creatives proprietary format that you need the organiser for? do they have one? edit: i just read you want WAV even with the organiser, choosing wav wont make it smaller, cause WAV is uncompressed, so really with any converter you should get the same size
