I'm looking for a free cross platform calendar. Right now im just using the OSX calendar 'iCal' with my iphone calendar and it syncs fine. But i was hoping to get a tablet soon and wanted to know if any free options are available that will work with an android tablet as well and let them all sync easily. Does Google calendar work well? or i may need to get an ipad for simplicity.
Might be a bit late, I didn't see this thread. So your devices are: iPhone, Mac OSX and you want a tablet? You can rest assured that the Android device will easily and effectively sync with Google Calendar. I own an Android phone and an Android tablet, and they sync very very well. The question now is: Do they sync with iOS? Well, according to Google, yes they do. The only way to test that is, since you already own both OSX and an iPhone, test it with Google Calendar before you purchase the tablet. You can easily transfer from iCal to Google Calendar as well. And if it works, the last remaining question is, what type of tablet should you get? Get a tablet (ipad or android) that fits your needs, not a tablet that you think is cool. One of the features i really need to start using more..... i was never good with keeping and agenda organized and it just translate to my calender being under utilized....
Thanks Dan, so google calendar it is! I'll test it out first and see how i go =) @Akki i never used my calendar much at all before.. but once i started using it like this it makes my life so much easier.. mainly because its on my phone and that's always on me. can check appointments and work days and hours etc. =)
