Rumored love rivals, Crystal Huang (黃奕) and Huo Siyan’s (霍思燕) public fight last October has ended up in court! It has been reported that Huo Siyan was the third party in Crystal Huang and ex-husband, Jiang Kai’s (姜凱) marriage, resulting in the pair’s inevitable separation. Siyan published three disparaging messages on the subject of a “spitfire celebrity wife,” and a “fat, oily husband” that has been allegedly aimed towards Crystal. When Siyan would not apologize for the defamatory comments, Crystal proceeded to sue her in court! Crystal stated that Siyan acted as a victim in her interviews, irrespective of her inflammatory comments on Weibo. Siyan’s remarks had a direct effect on Crystal’s character. On October 25th, Crystal’s lawyer sent a letter requesting Siyan to take off her defamatory Weibo posts. Making claims that she did not receive the lawyer’s letter, Siyan kept the offensive posts online. In the lawsuit, it was understood that Crystal sued to get Siyan to get rid of the three defamatory Weibo posts, apologize publicly on Weibo, and additionally pay for Crystal’s litigation fees.
