CTI's Ricky Wong still hasn't received his TV broadcasting license from the government after waiting for almost 3 years! Ricky is persistently urging the government to speed up the TV license process, and but to no avail. CTI submitted its application for the new license in 2009, after the government decided to open the platform. PCCW and i-Cable Communications also submitted applications, and said they are still waiting for the results. Ricky Wong said "This is infuriating...I do not see any reason why the government still can’t grant us a licence.", he declared if the government continues to stall, he will take further actions to get their license. Yesterday he uploaded a 7 minute promotional clip I Create The TV Miracle. The video introduces CTI's artists and programs, as well as the production team, filming equipment and sneak peak of the filming process and upcoming dramas. The general Netizen response to the promotional video was positive. Creds: Ming Pao/Weibo
Can't wait for it to become an official TV station... Looks quite interesting from the promotional clips.
4:22 holy shot gallen lo <3 if this tv station lives up to these promises... then it's good bye tvb, not gonna miss it one bit.
it's just all talk right now, until we actually see some of their work, it's too early to judge plus TVB won't be anywhere, they just will have to upgrade themselves as well. CTI talk about being original and stuff but that just BS cause a lot of those people were from TVB. These people always talk big to get people all excited. There promote clip interesting and they have a lot of new toys that will probably improve the quality from an equipment standpoint.
More competition in the free TV arena is great news. But when will they actually get their licence to start? seems like it's dragging on forever?
the promo not epic enuff... to me it feels like a kid reaching premature ejaculation... actually... that's what most HK promos feel like to me...
