The official homepage of girl group Dal Shabet has become a hot issue. In the main page where Dal Shabet is seen shining in a group photo, the ‘Girls’ Generation‘ label is stamped straight across right under them. After noticing this, netizens have been pondering this issue: was it intentional, yet faulty plagiarism? Or is it the work of a hacker?

As of 2:45PM, 23rd of June, the Dal Shabet homepage is now ‘under construction’. The website is currently on total shutdown and under repair. The homepage was open until yesterday, the 22nd.

Under Internet Explorer, the website works perfectly without fault, however, when the website is opened through other browsers such as Google Chrome or Firefox, the website is shown replicating elements to SNSD’s homepage.

A computer professional commented, “[the reason to this] has many possibilities. There’s no specific evidence, so I have no correct answer. However, netizens’ claims of ‘plagiarism’ is also a rational possibility, so there’s nothing to say about that”.

On this issue, Happy Face Entertainment stated, “We realized the issue early this morning (Korea time). There’s another company that handles the website, and through investigation, we found out that it was the work of a hacker. The website will be back up soon”.
