I asked this girl out the other day, and she said yes, but she'd have to check her schedule to see if she works this week or not, and will phone me back. Does that mean that she's blowing me off nicely?
ur gona need to giv her some time n space, before you can make your next move on her...everyone who has / in relationship, must have gone through this same procedure before... mayb she wants 2 giv u clues for sometin?
Give her some time and benefit of the doubt. Maybe she really needs to check her schedule b4 confirming it with you. If she doesn't call u back, try sms her (more subtle) or give her a call again. Then you'll know if she's trying to say no in a nice way, if she rejects u the second time.
Yep, U have to wait ... if she dont call ya back any time soon she not interested or else she WOULD be calling u back even if she doesnt have time this week... If I like a guy I'd call back and say i dont have time this week...but maybe we can hang out next week ?

well if she said yes like you said in your first post, then that means yes lol If she didn't say yes but just instead said to let her check her schedule, then that might mean she's brushing you off in a nice way. Just give her time, but try not to call her so soon. If after the week she still hasn't got back to you, then maybe give her a sms, she might have just forgot to get back to you.
She probably is busy, I mean...what excuse is let me check my chedule, if she was blowing you off, she would say straight "I'm really swamped so I don't think I can." By saying "Let me check my schedule! it could mean she isn't too sure, but there is opening, and like you said, she did say yes. Time darling, you don't want too seem too desperate or eager. It'll probably scare her away!

i think i really begin to understand girl little bit sometimes we guy might waiting and waiting for her to rang us or sms. but she might forgoten we call back to ask for 2nd time, will that irratated them ? I don't think she was trying to blow you off. THere are better ways to do so. waikitfire: I don't think girls will initiate phone calls to a guy they like...unless you asked her in the first place. If she forgets to call back, no harm in calling her a second time. But stop at the second time...it might get annoying after some time.
Likely you have have to give them time to think. If you rush, you could end up scaring them away. Instead, ask them questions that WONT end in yes or no.
Okay, so here's the update. It's been a week now, and I saw her yesterday. We went out as a group for dinner. She was acting like I had never asked her out last week. So, that's it right? I'm done with her?
