Beginning in 2007, daylight saving time (DST) will be extended in the United States. DST will start on March 11, 2007, which is three weeks earlier than usual, and it will end on November 4, 2007, which is one week later than usual. This results in a new DST period that is four weeks longer than in previous years. Unless certain updates are applied to your computer, the time zone settings for your computer's system clock may be incorrect during this four-week period. In particular, you must make sure that both your Windows operating system and your calendar programs are updated. http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_dst Knoc
Yep, will be a big problem for big entreprise systems. But on the other hand, it can just be a millenium situation Lets hope for the best.
It's nothing like the y2k scenario. That was a patch and then pray for the best type of a deal. Just at my work, preparing for the DST update has wrecked havoc on outlook calendars and blackberry handhelds. Canada and mexico will probably follow the US because they always want to keep up anyways. US is just being the test bed.
Yeah, I don't like to Spring forward and Fall back. Guess my biological clock is not Y2DST compliant. heheheh...
