It was a scheme cooked up decades ago as a means to conserve electricity by moving the time forward or backwards an hour to keep the clocks in sync with the daylight. Since the days are shorter in the winter, clocks are moved back an hour so businesses and factories open earlier and close earlier. That way they are open while the sun is still out.
i think it was because back in the very very past winter ended up in july and summer during the winter so to keep from screwing up they had to adjust the time, im not sure one of a few i've heard
i second that .. hate daylight saving time. i don't remember this type of time adjusting back in vn. bunch of crap if you ask me. i believe arizona and hawaii aren't changing.
lol...an we changed our times a week ago but it gets darker at like 4-5pm which means no more staying at late for me :(
yeah, I woke up at 9 and I was like damn I'm late and them I remembered daylight savings For your PC, if you are using Windows, it will automatically update. I'm not sure about cells but my cell adjusted on its own.
for those who don't have their cell phone times in sync, you can set it to auto sync with the network that you're on.
lmfao..... i did too..... i was 30 mins late for work! but it was because i turned off my alarm clock in my sleep and woke up at 8 (im suppose to be at work by 8)
