This is for my father. We used to get Fairchild TV but at 25$/month, it's not worth it anymore except for the news. TVB series are uploaded daily. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who uploads the news also? I tried Google, nothing relevant. I know TVB has myTV where we can stream English and Chinese news, but it can't handle it. Why DDL? Their computer is too old to handle wireless N so it's not that fast. And it's a 10 year old computer, it can't stream anything, even YT is choppy at best. Why not change computer? Have you guys tried convincing your parents? lol. Never works and always goes down to "Newer things are make cheap and don't last long" Thanks for the help.
Well you can always try other asian websites besides Popularasians. Download it from other website with bitcomet or other download manager on another computer then store it on a flashdrive and play the flashdrive file on your parents' computer. This is the only way I know. I don't know if I can put the name of the website down here since some people might preceive it as advertisement. I usually do this for my parents too. I play the flashdrive file on a laptop that's set up specifically for the TV. They could just watch it from the LCD TV I bought for them. I think it's a pain to upload News to DDL format because you have to do this everyday. You should ask NOASIAN to do it for ya. He is, afterall, providing us with the TVB series on a daily basis.
