Teen Sentenced to Die Melts Down Chaos Breaks Out in Harris County Court After Death Sentence Last Edited: Thursday, 28 Jun 2007, 12:38 PM CDT HOUSTON -- A teen found guilty of murder in a deadly crime spree in Fort Bend County lunges towards one of the murder victim's family after he was sentenced to death, FOX 26 News reported Wednesday. Immediately after the verdict was read, 19-year-old Dexter Johnson knocked over a computer monitor on the defense table and he lunged toward the victim's family. Harris County court deputies tackled him to the ground and he was dragged out of court. Johnson's mother started crying out after the verdict was read and members of his family tried to approach him and the deputies. Johnson's family was escorted out of the courtroom. The victims' families remained inside the courtroom following the incident. Jurors took about four hours to reach the verdict. Johnson was found guilty last week for his part in a string of crimes during Father's Day weekend of 2006. Investigators found the bodies of Maria Aparece and Huy Ngo in a field near the 10400 block of Gateway Drive in northeast Houston on June 23, 2006. death penalty is still bad... and i'm against it. so he killed someone, and they kill him, does that make them murderers too? i would just sentence him to jail for iuno how long...
It's like he didn't expect it. What sentence would you expect if you killed two innocent people? -nono
he didn't kill one but 2!!..one was 17 years old!!! he toook a life of some1 younger than him...why the eff should he get to b alive when that 17 year old couldn't
Sentencing him for life would still burden the society having to pay for his lodgings and meals...unless we talk about 3rd world country where they work your rear end off then im all for it-devil
thats not a bad alternative... not bad at all.... but that wont be suitable for psychopathic killers, or crazy people like t-bag from prison break...
i don't think he dies right after judgement is passed =/... im sure he gets thrown into jail until they set an execution date...he'll have plenty of time to think over wat he did all while being someones new gf...
