Denise Ho (何韻詩) and Taiwanese girlfriend, 29-year-old Deng Jiuyun (鄧九雲), were photographed kissing on the streets of Taipei on November 25. Denise and Jiuyun’s relationship have been rumored since the beginning of the year, after they met in theater project, Jia Bao Yu <賈寶玉>. Denise was nominated for Best Actress at the 49th Golden Horse Awards for her performance in Life Without Principle <奪命金>. Although she lost out on the award, Denise attended a party after the awards presentation to celebrate costar, Sean Lau’s (劉青雲) win as Best Actor. Afterward, Denise reportedly happily spent the night at girlfriend, Deng Jiuyun’s apartment in Taipei. At 12 noon the next day, Denise and Jiuyun stepped outside together. Hugging for more than 2 minutes, the pair kissed passionately on the lips before saying goodbye. Denise’s relationship with Jiuyun did not come as a surprise to fans who have been following the pair’s banter on Weibo. Even before Denise admitted to being a lesbian at a gay pride parade, fans have been referring to Jiuyun as their “Yi So” (wife of Denise). It was understood the Denise is currently rehearsing for her theater project with Jiuyun in Macau. Jiuyun has met Denise’s parents and gets along well with them.
