I need some computer experts advice... right now, i'm downloading with my destop , and i intend to buy a laptop just for surfing the net .. my problem : after i sign-in ; on my destop , can i sign-in the laptop using the same user ID & password ?-unsure do i need to buy special device /gadget ? i'm very very blur now -rolleyes
It should work. I'm using the same windows CD as my friends. Our computers are no way connected anyway. Even with the same ID and Pass it should work. Don't worry, It'll work.
depends wat ur "signing in" to if its the windows/linux login acct, no problems messenger/icq, whichever one u login will logout the other one website accts are fine too other than that, u won't notice any problems =) i haf multiple desktops networked up and its all fine
Thanks for your advice Think both destop & Laptop will be using Windows XP . so hope i can sign-in both at the same time.. was thinking using the destop to surf net , and the laptop to download drama , after that , use the S-Video cable (via the laptop) plug into my TV to view the series .. pray that will be clear viewing thru TV ...not blur blur...-rolleyes Sick of converting series to VCD , then Nero-burning.. waste my time and CD-RW anymore advice ,most welcome.. thanks in advance
y don't u just dl with the desktop wireless network the two and then u can just access anything thats on the desktop at any time =) and u can still link laptop to tv etc keep in mind that svideo cable quality isn't that great, but its better than nothing i only use svideo too >< costs too much to upgrade tv =(
thanks for the good advice.. was advised by one member, to use / do this HDMI - Best Component - Better s-video cable - Good Composite - Basic s-video little blurry. pls explain to me what's HDMI, Component & etc ? some wire, device ,gadgets ? my head is not only blurry but spinning too !!!-innocent2 thanks in advance
all the terms above are types of interfaces/standards or just think of them as the type of cable you need ok HDMI is only for High definition, talking about up to 1080p resolution. I dont think many graphics will have hdmi, so doubt you will run into that Component is high quality but again not many graphics card will support that the most common cables you will find are composite, the yellow one or s-video however if ur doing it from a laptop, most laptops only have a VGA out (maybe DVI) which wont go into a TV
