In TVB series, Men With No Shadows <不速之約>, Raymond Lam (林峰) received good reaction towards his devil role. Last week’s ratings averaged 29 points, while last Friday’s 2-hour finale averaged 32 points, peaking at 36 points, with approximately 2.3 million viewers tuning in to watch. Despite the good ratings, the Hong Kong Broadcasting Authority received several complaints from the audience regarding Men With No Shadows, citing a suicidal scene involving the jumping from a building and argument scenes which may have negative impacts upon children. In its first week of broadcast, Liza Wang’s (汪明荃) Super Snoops <荃加福祿壽> averaged ratings of 28 points, with approximately 1.79 million viewers who watched the series. This marked a decline of one rating point in comparison to River of Wine <九江十二坊>, which was broadcast in the same time slot last week. In addition, several audience complaints were filed against Shirley Yeung’s (楊思琦) variety program, Paw Love <寵愛有家>. The audience found the scene in which roaches, lizards, and white mice were fed to a snake to be unsettling. TVB’s 45th Anniversary Lighting Ceremony, which was broadcast last Monday, received 27 points in ratings, with approximately 1.7 million viewers watching the program. Although there were a lack of popular celebrities at the lighting ceremony, the ratings were quite good. Creds: Oncc/Dramasian
