Get the feeling that they just want to have publicity.
But this is just very bad. This will hurt lots of feelings.

There is a chance that Neo-Nazis will go to these places to worship their Fuhrer -evil

WTF, didn't know there were so many of these Hitler themed Bars/restaurants in Asia! -shock Have only heard about the Indian one in Mumbay because the Swastika cross has a different meaning to them. (also didn't the gigantic sitting Buddha in HK also has a swastika cross on one ot it's palms?)

And I was shocked seeing lots of Hitler dolls in a sort of cute version and other items like this one on the poster in Kyoto:

People in some Asian countries really have no notion who he was and what he did in the WWll
If they realized who he was I bet they won't enjoy their food/drink in that kind of bars 'n restaurants.

I have noticed that when I was in HK. There was a shop selling WOII action figures.
Amongst those action figures, there was Adolf Hitler, Himmler, etc.-ohmy

Gee, this reminds me of Southpark, where fat ass Cartman wants to be Hitler -evil

I remember a HK fashion label designed a fashion line with several Nazi symbols a few years ago.

I should condemn all that superficialty and thoughtlessness from my position and actually I do however I am probably not qualified to condemn other nations since my country iis still responsible for what has happened and what still occurs regarding xenophobia and right-wing extremism.

I do live in aregion where unfortunately such dumbf*ck idiots are marching through the streets to celebrate and to pay hommage to fallen soldiers and their leaders. They even get permission to do so respectively the authorities often have no chance to prohibit that by law. Then you might hear about the so called no-go-areas here in Germany. -angry

nothing wrong with the swastika, it was a religious symbol before it was a symbol of terror and death. I would have no problem at eating at hitler's, it would be no different than eating a restaurant called "The George Bush".

im thinking these are less places that advocate hate and rather places with an interesting sense of marketing. these places are likely attempting to appeal to culturally and politically apt individuals.

yeah, of course i could be completely off base... these places might just be meeting locations for neo-nazis and white supremists.... although, the fact that these bars are mostly located in asia means that advocation of white supremacy is probably not that likely. If hitler had his way this site would be called "Popular Arians" and asian people would have either been exterminated like the jews or used as slaves to do white people's taxes and to make sure his Xbox Live connection stayed active.

i think it's just timing, one day this will be ok, it will be part of history

but right now it's just too soon, cause the people thare were affected by this personally are still around
just like they JUST released some of the documents in germany about the prisoners. Not because they were hiding it, they just needed people who would not create riots to still be around
but one day, when people want to find the records of their past ancestors (not current day sister) they will be able to find it
