    im on vista 64 bit

and when i install the game i need to install
Direct x optional runtime components. from a file i found out called "dxwebsetup"
i cant seem to get it running
before its starts an error pops up and says

"A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid"

so i complete the installtion of "left 4 dead", with out installing the Direct x optional runtime components

and the game crashes everytime after the trailers, it doesnt even load the main menu

anyone know how to fix this?
i tried disabling my norton security software, but still doesnt work

dxwebsetup is Direct X setup from Internet. Try download DirectX end-user redistributable. get it from Microsoft website if u have original Windows or just get if from Filehippo (http://www.filehippo.com/download_directx/). the game i don't really know but if it's really cause not installing dxwebsetup then try download and install DirectX end-user redistributable package
