Why is it that whenever a disaster like this occurs people look at one small thing that looks promising and say "oh thank you god" and don't blame god for the disaster itself, or the other people injured and killed. A series of fortunate events does not constitute a miracle. I'm glad that his son was saved, but to thank God for this seems so obtuse and outrageous when the rest of your family, along with 300 others are lying dead, crushed by nature.
