Official proceeding has not been finalized as it was felt to be a sensitive period currently. Yi was caught on camera carrying numerous large baggages and flying to Beijing alone. Reports even claimed that Yi had moved out of Yu's residence since two years ago. Yi's liquidation of her properties in Taiwan has also sparked many to believe that she is getting ready to move to China for good. In light of such reports, Yi's manager commented that she has not heard about a divorce and even appealed for the reporter behind the rumor to step out and show proof. Yu on the other hand, refrained from commenting on the matter and even lock himself in the dressing room on set for his variety show to avoid the press. Yu's manager, too, said that there is no news of divorce. In addition, according to Taiwan's United Daily News, a friend of Yi said that she was bent on divorce before Lunar New Year, but the Hokkaido trip seems to have resulted in a subtle change. While Yi may be focusing her career in China now, she said, "I must provide Harrison with a good childhood, children needs a complete home." That was also the reason, to accompany her son, behind her rejection to cast in drama series in China. Yi did not reveal much on the outcome of her marriage to her friend, but only said the outcome would surprise everyone.
