I was watching a movie that downloaded from here earlier this morning using the DivX subs displayer program but for some reason the subtitles didn't appear accordingly. Like, a guy would start talking but the subs don't appear until like 10 seconds later when the guy is already done talking. Is it because the person who made the subs set the wrong time? Is there no way we can fix this? It gets sooo annoying. >.<

  2. maybe use a different player like media player classic or something and see if the problem still exists... if you wanna edit subs theres always Subtitle Workshop. Also check if there are other subs of the same language...

most likely the subs are out of sync because it is from another release
some players let you adjust the timing of the subs to advance or delay them

like dong said, if theres that much of a delay its likely that version of the subs wasnt made for the version of movie you are watching. There are different versions of subs depending on whether your movie is split into 2, dvd-rip, etc, etc

You can always "synchronize" the subs in the option menu to have it move in the same pace as your video file.

On a related note, is there a way to "join" .srt subs from a 2-CD version into a single .srt?
