Do you feel overly pissed when you get a "B" grade?

Why is it that every time I receive a "B" I feel like I am being shot in the face?? Is it a Chinese thing or is it just me???:(

 

hmm...i get 50's and im happy in high skool....in college i as happy to get a 70 lol

 

a 'B' grade is like high achiever and 'C' is the average so im happy but i rather an 'A'

 

haha not really, B is good enough for the average joe regardless of race.. but ofcoz aim for A la..

 

i think its senioritis but i don't seem to care anymore.
i used to always want As but now its kinda like who cares...

 

yes especially when your 4 marks off an A

 

B is good, but i would strive for A.
Maybe because your too focused on yourself getting an A but in the end you get a B. Theres a chinese saying but yea can't translate. Its gona look bad

 

Depends on which course. If I get a B in math, I'd be pretty happy since my math is horrible. If I get a B in english or marketing, I'd be very pissed since I usually get over 95% in those courses.

 

I don't care how low or high high i get. as long as its a pass. im fine it with it.

 

to be honest im happy with a 'B' grade as others have said average is a 'C' so you're above average

 

B is the minimum I'll accept. I'm not pissed nor happy.

i am happy with a B after a hard class. but after a easy class, im a little bummed.

 

I get a little depressed with a B, maybe because I like set my standards high like an A and my friends regard me smarter than eveyone else. I hate that sometimes though, if I get like a C and if my friend got a B, she would never stop praising herself. And I also have one of those genius siblings, and my parents are never satisfied with my marks because of that.

@OP Dont think its a chinese thing. It all boils down to how you were raised and what kind of person you are.

 

If I worked soooo hard, and only got a B, then, I would get very pissed. but it's only IF

 

i never really tried in school but if i get a "b" i'd be super happy
