Believe it or not but I just learned how to play mahjong through a white dude ... lol But I only know how to play the HK way .. I am curious about the Taiwanese and Shanghainese way as well .. Does anyone know here play mj too and know all three? If so, tell me! Thanks!

lol..i suck at Mahjong...dont really know how to set up my cards to 'eat' something but i can get 3/4 of a kind etc... i prefer Big2
Ok ppl .. I know ya'll can play MJ ... please share any cheat sheet ... counting da fan is easy .. the first thing i learned is how to keep tap of the score and wins .. the last thing you want is for someone to cheat or make a fool out of you ... it's a game .. but it's also human nature for ppl to CHEAT ... don' t know why ...lol i guess everyone here only play the HK style ... lol ... sigh ..
i love mj..also play the "hk" way but even with the "hk"way we have different rules..have different set of rules when i play with my family and when i play with my friends..when i play with my friends we follow the rules of Facebook, but when i play with my family we play so we finish with 9 stacks remaining, we count "birds eyes" and stuff like that..but heard that thats the way people normally play it in villages in hk, and not the correct way in general..

nope..referring to the pair you have at the end..in some places they count 2s 5s and 8s as an extra fan.. for the mj game on fb, just type in mahjong in the search and you should be able to find the application..

i gotta say . .this mj game is rather addictive .. i can go all night .. time passed by so fast without even realizing it. not sure it's good or bad ...lol
