Do you pretend you are single/dating?

have you ever pretended to have a bf/gf when you didn't?

have you ever pretended to be single when you were dating someone?

 

i know i have, i've never pretended to be single

but i have pretended to be dating someone, when i was single
just cause someone would have an interest in me, and the only thing i can say to make them back off is "I have a bf"


although the other day i almost got caught
i was joking with one them about "how can (action) happen if you are single"
and he's like "oh your single"
and i'm like "oh no, but it feels like it cause my bf is away for the summer . . . . i miss him"

i told someone i was already dating someone because i wanted him to back off in a nice way =)

i know someone who pretended to be single who was married muahahaha

 

my friend bluntly said NO to a girl, so she told her crazy cuz and he beat my friend up, literally knocked him unconscious :(

i remember me going home to get my my brother to beat some guy up in primary school because he was saying stuff about me being chinese =)

 

^^ but that's different... I too have a sister and wouldn't mind punching a guy out for her

 

There's no shame in being single, and if in a relationship, there's no need to pretend that you're not in one unless you don't value the relationship? -huh

 

i've told guys that i had a bf when i didn't. i don't know how else to say, "sorry, not interested" without hurting their feelings.

 

If it was some randoms coming up to you i am sure you can say whatever and they won't get hurt by it, they are probably pros.

If it was someone you knew for awhile then they should have asked you if not found out if you were single or not before asking you.

 

Just say exactly that "sorry, i'm not interested" and they'll get the point. I reckon they'll be even more hurt if you told them you had a bf but later they found out you were lying to them.

I had a friend who liked a guy, the guy told her he wasn't really up for any relationships with anyone. But the next thing you know the guy is trying to ask another girl out. Obviously she was pretty cut up about it.

 

Oh and i've never really lied about being single or taken.
The closest thing would be my friend assumed a girl i was seeing was my gf, and i didn't really say she wasn't so yeah. She kept asking about her even when nothing really worked out between me and the girl. It was like
friend - "so hows your gf?",
me - "oh yeah shes ok" -emb

i see ur point. lying about it has never come back to bite me in the ass...yet. i guess from now on, i'll just tell the truth.

 

if u dont know the guy like say u met him in a club...and he asks...who cares...im gonna continue saying that i do have bf

 

when i get strangers asking for my number i always tell them i'm living with my bf even when i'm single...

 

i will never lie about diz stuff lolz... so stupid ar... but a guy where i am with now on vacation actully has a GF... but his pretending to dont have a girl so he can have fun with girls over here :S tbh... thats really sad... but ah well.. im stuck with them for 1 more week... HELP ME OUT AR
