So over the summer, I suddenly developed interest in my friend. We've been friends since 6th grade so thats about 8 years. I was about to take my road test and we just happened to be talking online and he suggested that we could go on a drive together if I wanted since nobody in my family drives. I accepted happily and when we drove it was strictly business, he was giving me some pointers, I was freaking out behind the wheel. After that I told him, if i pass I'll buy you dinner, in the end, I failed but we still grabbed dinner anyways. However he paid, and I returned the favor by buying him bubble tea. Afterwards we walked around for a few hours and just had conversations. Prior to that we planned a trip to a water park together with a bunch of other friends. While they were all asleep, we talked. The more I talk to him the more I like him, but I don't know if he feels the same. :( We go to school in different states and I happened to be going home this past week and I asked him to hang out and he agreed. It was fun and once again we had wonderful conversations. Do you think he possibly likes me? Problem is I'm always the one asking him to hang out and we have so much history together just as friends. I feel like he isn't flirting with me either so this is probably one sided love What do you guys think??? What should I do???
grab him in the neck and kiss him then say "take that bastard!, what you going to do huh? i just sexually assaulted you ". if he likes you he will say "do you want me to take off my cloth as well". if he doesnt like you, he will probably say "what the hell did you do that for? you are close to ruining my beautiful virginity. im saving it for my wedding night, so dont you ever try that again"
it's very hard to tell because many guys just like to hang out. i think you should just tell him you like him. test him out. say it with some humor and see his reactions.
Alright , since im bored and not out tonight. I shall indulge me entertainment on this forum. I dunno this is kind of hard, not enough info for me to tell if he likes u. He might just treat u as a friend and not gf material. He might be shy to approach u , u never know. It does not always have to be the guy who approach the girl in this situation. Just kiss him and see what happens. U never know unless u try. HInt" Im a guy , and a girl who likes me and kisses me out of no where gets extra brownie points for courage. I like girls who go for what they want and are the one who is aggressive. GL Life goes on if he doesnt like u and move on to other things in life.
you can definitely leave hints and see if he reacts to it when i fell in love with my gf, i sent her a lot of text messages and left ones that showed i really liked her. then she started to do the same thing too and we both knew we liked each other. or if you don't want to wait, then just tell him. have no regrets in your life. even if it wasn't meant to be, at least you tried. love is a rational act. go for it.
well, i guess at this point of time, you should just tell him that you like him, and see how he reacts. But then, you might also risk the possibility of breaking this friendship. Anyhow, this is something that you'll have to think and decide for yourself.
you have been friends for 8 yrs (and it's still ongoing),isn't it normal to have a conversations? You can tell him you like him or if you wanna stay his friend,find yourself another guy
I think you should just talk to him about ur feelings. Since you guys have known each other for so long, he probably has a bit of an idea that u like him. I think it would be best to know the answer straight forward rather than stalling, just wait when u guys are alone and in the right mood. Timing tends to be the big part....
Honestly, it doesn't sound like much more than friendship to me. While he sounds like a great guy and a good friend, he isn't doing anything that a good friend wouldn't do. So, you shouldn't get your hopes up. Give it some time and see if he takes any initiative. If not, then you should move on.
