Last night Ella and Judy Chou were shooting a scene for [Just Want to Depend on You] at Nei-Hu. In the scene, she was unfortunately being cheated by Judy Chou. As she watched him hooking up with another girl, she broke down in tears right away, to the point that she had to use a whole wad of Kleenex to dry her tears. However, as soon as the scene was over, she immediately laughed happily to entertain everyone. She had learned to have the tears flowing within one second. Yesterday she shared: [When doing a crying scene, I would get emotionally involved into the story and think about sad things, such as how would I cope if my mother passes away and I would break down and cry.] The night before, the cast of [Just Want to Depend on You] went on location just outside the Aoyu Restaurant in Nei-hu. Judy Chou was cast in a guest appearance role as Ella’s unfaithful boyfriend. Whether Ella was sad, crying or yelling at him still could not make him change his mind. During the shoot, [Variety King] Jacky Wu was also coincidentally having dinner at the restaurant. He caused a stir among the cast and crew when he was leaving. It was not until he saw Ella seeing him off with teary eyes that he reminded everyone with some embarrassment: [All of you watch the director! Quit watching me!] This whole portion of the scene was completed with Ella pretending to be pitiful. Perhaps it was because she cried so hard during the scene and felt embarrassed, after the scene was finished, she did not go near Judy Chou and kept chatting and joking with the filming crew instead. After work, with sharp eyes, she discovered that there were reporters and suddenly acted crazy pretending to be 007. She pretended the laser pen in her hand was a gun and starting shooting at the reporters. When the reporters reminded her that laser may harm the human eye, she then like a child caught with wrongdoing, replaced her laughing antics with a woeful expression, stood properly and waved [goodbye] to the reporters. Yesterday, Ella was filming with Jerry Yan and Xiao Xiao Bin. The night before when she cried so hard, her eyes were very much swollen and she was afraid that the scenes could not be segued smoothly. However on the set, both she and Jerry Yan felt that Xiao Xiao Bin was the focus. Jerry even had several NGs because of him. He shared: [Xiao Xiao Bin was simply too adorable. Watching him running to me, I was so into watching him that I had forgot that I still have one more shot of me getting out of the car.] And Ella, despite the hot sun, willingly helped Xiao Xiao Bin to remember marks and positions.
