if this is another " forbidden kingdom" movie (american made kungfu movie ), then this will be another disappointment. strange idea, cast western actors to do this movie and have an premiere in japan.
I read in an interview with Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragonball, that he considers this live-action movie to be an alternate universe to the one he created. Because after he saw this, he didn't recognize it at all. I'm not sure that's a good sign, but being as popular as Dragonball is everywhere, either way, it's going to sell tickets because people are curious.
The Legend of Chun Li and Dragonball are both already nominated for the worst movie of the year. Unless Paris Hilton or Britney Spears are making a movie -whistle
This is gona be crap, if they're gona remake an asian comic, at least let the main characters all be oriental.
lol its not because the characters aren't oriental thats the problem its a different problem, the movie looks to deviate from the source and become an "americanized asian plot" type movie. Besides "Saiyan" literally translates to Sai which means western yan means people at least in the cantonese dragonball shows it means that lol, English people.
^hahaha nah man my schlong is still present. lol shit forgot about those peeps...tai gam or some shit...forgot they are also called gong gong hahaha...
the white man in the movie is throwing me off completely...why cast a white kid to play the main character of an asian cartoon. its like saying lets cast brad pitt for cloud or wind
